INTERNATIONAL FLY-IN

POSTPONED DUE TO BAD WEATHER. EXPECT A NEW DATE LATER IN THE YEAR

The official 2024 Stampe Club Fly held at Headcorn Aerodrome, the heart of UK Vintage Aviation.  Pilot accommodation will be in the Tenterden area of Kent and transport will be provided. You are advised to book hotel rooms early. Watch this space for further news. Set in the middle of Kent, which is always referred to as the Garden of England, the airfield is close to the mainline station and within easy reach of London. So it's either, plane or train.

Saturday Day.
08:00: - Onwards. Aircraft arrive throughout the day.
 Welcome drink provided on arrival.
Lunch available throughout the day
14:30 - Onwards. Transport to hotels.

Saturday evening. 
17:00 - Onwards. Collection from hotels to get you back to Headcorn Airfield for 18:30.
Food from 18:30. Live Music. Awards.
21:00 until late: Transport to hotels

Sunday. 
08:00 Onwards. Collection from hotels to get you back to Headcorn Airfield times to be arranged.

This event is a must for all Stampeists. It is held in the emotional home and birthplace of Stampes. Its continued success is down to the light handed, yet efficient, organisation of Danny Cabooter and his family and numerous volunteers. It is always a good event with Stampes arriving from many European countries whose owners wish to savour the good company and cheer of other Stampeists.
SATURDAY. 10.00: Open to the public / Arrival of the participants. 13.00: Social gathering at the airfield / Pleasure flights / Local flights & demonstrations / Static show. 19.00: BBQ and distribution of prizes

​SUNDAY. 10.00: Open to the public. 12.00: Lunch. 12.30: Briefing 13:00: Formation flight over Antwerp. 13:30: Local flights & demonstrations Pleasure flights. 16:30: Para drop. 17:00: Event closes.

THE STAMPE CLUB ARE RUNNING A BUS SERVICE FROM HEADCORN AIRFIELD TO THE HOTELS LISTED BELOW.
WE ADVISE YOU TO BOOK EARLY AS THE LOCAL AREA IS VERY POPULAR WITH TOURISTS. IF YOU BOOK ANY OTHER HOTEL YOU WILL HAVE TO ARRANGE YOUR OWN TAXI. THERE ARE PHONE NUMBERS BELOW BUT ALWAYS BEST TO BOOK IN ADVANCE
The Bristol Aeroplane Company Ltd bus that is a 'One Off' Designed to service the development of Concorde. This bus has become to be known as 'Concorde's Bus'. Built in 1954, it takes 24 people and has some very unique seats. This will take you to your hotel and back to the airfield.

FREE STAMPE CLUB FLY-IN POSTER

Every Stampe Aircraft that attends the 2024 ‘International Stampe Club Fly-in’ will receive a FREE Stampe Club poster. It is A3 in size and digitally printed on art paper. It is supplied in a cardboard tube, so easy to put into your flight kit to take home for framing.
This is a limited edition poster for this specific event.
